How To Add Your Digital Business Card To Apple Wallet & Google Wallet

If you already use Bizcardy to share your digital business card, adding it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet makes sharing even faster. With a couple of taps, you can bring up your card on your lock screen, let people scan your QR code, and save your details in seconds.

This guide walks you through, step by step, how to turn your Bizcardy profile into a Wallet pass on both iPhone (Apple Wallet) and Android (Google Wallet).

What You Need Before You Start

  • A Bizcardy account
You will need to be able to log into the Bizcardy web app
  • Access to the Wallet feature
The Wallet Customizer is only available on plans that include Wallet.
If you see an upgrade message when you open the Wallet page, your current plan does not include it yet.
  • A completed Bizcardy profile
Ideally with your name, job title, company, email, and phone number filled in.
  • A compatible device
iPhone with Apple Wallet (iOS 15 or later recommended).
Android phone with Google Wallet installed (or Google Pay or Wallet supported).

Step 1: Open the Wallet Customizer in Bizcardy

You can do this from your phone or your computer.

  1. Log in to Bizcardy
Go to https://app.bizcardy.co.uk/auth/login and sign in.
  2. Go to your Dashboard
Use the main navigation to open your dashboard or home area.
  3. Open the Wallet page
Click on Wallet or Wallet Customizer in the dashboard navigation.
You should see a page titled Wallet Customizer with a live phone style preview on the right.

If you see an upgrade prompt instead of the customizer, your account or team has not yet had Wallet enabled.

Step 2: Choose Which Profile to Use

If you have multiple Bizcardy profiles or team profiles, you can choose which one the Wallet pass should use.

  1. Scroll to the Select Profile section.
  2. Use the Profile for this Wallet Pass dropdown to choose:
    • a personal profile, or
    • a team or template based profile, such as your company standard card.
  3. After selecting, Bizcardy will:
    • Pre fill your name, job title, company, email, and phone number, and
    • Load any team branding and logo if applicable.

You will see these details reflected immediately in the Wallet Preview on the right.

Step 3: Check & Edit Your Contact Details

Next, make sure your card actually says what you want it to say.

  1. In the Customize Your Pass section, you will see fields for:
    • Full Name
    • Job Title
    • Company
    • Email Address
    • Phone Number
  2. Update any details you want to change.
  3. Watch the preview update in real time as you type.

Some fields may be locked if your team enforces consistent branding. Locked fields cannot be edited on the Wallet pass.

Step 4: Adjust Your Wallet Colours (Optional)

You can match your Wallet pass to your personal or brand colours.

  1. Look for the colour controls for:
    • Background colour
    • Text colour
    • Label colour, for example small labels like NAME or TITLE
  2. Pick colours that:
    • Keep text readable with good contrast, and
    • Match your brand palette.

If your team has enforced colours, some colour inputs may be locked.

When you are happy with your design, save your wallet settings. Bizcardy will remember these colours for this profile.

Step 5: Generate Your Wallet Pass

At the top of the Wallet Customizer you will see the Download Your Pass section with two main buttons:

  • Apple Wallet
  • Google Wallet

Before those buttons work, make sure:

  • A profile is selected in Select Profile.
  • The QR code for your profile has loaded in the background. If not, wait a moment.

If the buttons are greyed out, check the message under them. You may just need to wait for the QR or profile to finish loading.

Once everything is ready, you can add your card to Wallet using one of the two methods below.

Method 1: Add Your Bizcardy Card Directly From Your Phone

For iPhone (Apple Wallet)

  1. On your iPhone, open Safari or your preferred browser.
  2. Go to https://app.bizcardy.co.uk and log in.
  3. Open your Dashboard > Wallet Customizer.
  4. Confirm that the correct profile is selected and the preview card shows the right name, job title, and company.
  5. In Download Your Pass, tap Apple Wallet.
  6. iOS will download a .pkpass file and then show an Apple Wallet preview with your card.
  7. Tap Add on the Apple Wallet sheet.

Your Bizcardy card is now saved to Apple Wallet. You will find it in the Wallet app under your passes.

For Android (Google Wallet)

  1. On your Android phone, open Chrome or your preferred browser.
  2. Go to https://app.bizcardy.co.uk and log in.
  3. Open your Dashboard > Wallet Customizer.
  4. Confirm your details and preview.
  5. In Download Your Pass, tap Google Wallet.
  6. Bizcardy will open a Google Wallet or Save Pass screen.
  7. Tap Save to Google Wallet or the relevant Add button.

Your Bizcardy card is now saved in the Google Wallet app. If the Google Wallet screen does not open, check that your browser is not blocking new tabs or popups for Bizcardy.

Method 2: Add Your Card by Scanning a QR Code

This method is perfect if you are designing the pass on your laptop and adding it to your phone.

Step A: Generate the QR Code in Bizcardy

  1. On your computer, log in to Bizcardy and open Dashboard > Wallet Customizer.
  2. Make sure your profile and colours look correct.
  3. Scroll to the Add from your phone (scan QR) section.
  4. You will see two panels:
    • iPhone with a Show QR button.
    • Android with a Show QR button.
  5. Click Show QR under iPhone to generate an Apple Wallet QR, or Show QR under Android to generate a Google Wallet QR.
  6. Bizcardy will generate a QR code and display it in that panel. Leave this QR visible on your screen.

Step B: Add to Apple Wallet via QR (iPhone)

  1. On your iPhone, open the Camera app.
  2. Point the camera at the Apple Wallet QR on your computer screen.
  3. Wait for the link notification to appear at the top of the screen and tap it.
  4. Safari will open an Add to Apple Wallet preview.
  5. Tap Add to save the card into your Apple Wallet.

Step C: Add to Google Wallet via QR (Android)

  1. On your Android phone, open:
    • The Camera app if it supports QR scanning, or
    • A QR scanner app, or
    • The Google Wallet app and use its Add or Scan option if available.
  2. Point it at the Google Wallet QR on your computer screen.
  3. Tap the link that appears.
  4. You will see a Google Wallet save screen for your Bizcardy pass.
  5. Tap Save to Google Wallet or the equivalent Add button.

Your Bizcardy card is now stored in Google Wallet.

How to Use & Share Your Wallet Card in Real Life

  • On iPhone (Apple Wallet)
Double click the side button, or the home button on older devices, to bring up Apple Wallet.
Tap your Bizcardy card to show it full screen.
Let the other person scan the QR code from your screen to open your full digital profile.
  • On Android (Google Wallet)
    Open the Google Wallet app.
Tap your Bizcardy card to display it.
Show the QR code so others can scan and save your details.

Your Wallet card is ideal for in person networking events, conferences and trade shows, and quick introductions where you do not want to type or search for links.

Updating Your Wallet Card Later

If your details change, such as a new role, phone number, or branding:

  1. Log back into Bizcardy > Wallet Customizer.
  2. Update your info and colours.
  3. Generate a fresh Wallet pass, Apple or Google, and add it to your Wallet again.

This keeps the card you pull up from Wallet in line with your current details.

Troubleshooting

  • I only see an upgrade message on the Wallet page
Your current plan does not include Wallet. You will need to upgrade or ask your team admin to enable it.
  • The Apple Wallet or Google Wallet buttons are disabled
Make sure a profile is selected and you have waited a moment for the QR or profile data to finish loading.
If a warning message appears under the buttons, follow the instructions there.
  • The QR will not scan from my phone
Increase your screen brightness and make sure the QR is large and sharp.
Clean your camera lens and try again.
Move the phone closer or further away until it focuses.
  • The Wallet app does not open after tapping the link
Make sure you have Apple Wallet enabled on iOS, or Google Wallet installed and set up on Android.
Try using the default browser, Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android, if another browser is blocking the flow.

With these steps, any Bizcardy user can turn their digital business card into a professional Wallet pass that is always ready on their phone.
